WHAT:Cinebeasts and 2W(h)eels are looking for animated short films to show this summer at The Wonderdonk Bike-In Movie Series.  These events are community inclusive Bring Your Own Pinic outdoor film screenings happening once a month in July, August, and early September.  
WHERE:The events will be held on the bucolic grounds of the historic Onderdonk House, located on the Bushwick/Ridgewood border at 1820 Flushing Avenue (a short walk from the Jefferson stop on the L train.)  As this is a bike-in series, we strongly encourage all guests to find a way to bike to the event!
WHEN:The first show is slated for July 29th, the second August 27th, and the third and final on September 10th. Selected shorts will be shown before the feature film for the screenings in August and September. (Rain-dates have been set up for all but the third event.)
WHY:Who doesn’t love outdoor film screenings and picnics held in the gigantic backyard of an old Dutch farmhouse from the 1700s?  
WHO:Cinebeasts is a collective of film nerds, vidiots, and lovers of the farthest reaches of the universe of moving images.  We organize film screenings all over New York City in places ranging from undersground bars, real venues, moored boats, and your parents’ living room.
2(w)heels Collective is a Bushwick-Ridgewood-based collective that seeks to promote alternative modes of transportation and local involvement with the arts and with the community. We believe that reclaiming and re-purposing public space strengthens communities, promotes civic engagement and inspires creativity.  
HOW:Send us links to up to 3 different films that we can see online to cinebeasts@gmail.com. Please include some basic information about yourself: your name, contact information, and any information about your work, process, or submitted films that you want to include. If accepted, please be prepared to send to us a high quality quicktime file of your work. We will contact you to arrange transfer of files over FTP or mailing/dropping off/picking up of a disc. All forms of animation are accepted.
